Auction Terms & Conditions IDENTIFICATION: We collect information on you because we need to know that you are a REAL PERSON. We use a very secure 3rd party financial service to verify credit card information to ensure you are a real and legitimate bidder. They may charge you a $1.00 Fee the first time you register for online bidding. You will then be able to bid on all our future online sales (To be held monthly).
If you have a problem registering or have registered and are having an issue bidding please goto our auction software providers website located at www.auctionflex.com. Then click on the live help button. They will have a live operator open a chat window with you and resolve the problem.
All items are subject to a 15% buyers premium.
If you do not feel comfortable registering online(Or do not have a valid credit card) you will be able to place a bid in person, onsite during the specified preview times only, ID and a cash deposit will be required to do this.
PAYMENT: All payments must be made in person in full by Thursday September 15th at 4PM, any payments not received by that time will have the registers credit card billed directly. For items being shipped, payments over $100.00 must be made via wire transfer.
STORAGE: Any items not removed by Sept 15th ,2011, will incur storage fees at a rate of $5 per lot per day. After 30 days or when the storage fee exceeds the items value, the item will be deemed abandoned and will be resold or disposed of at our discretion.
REVIEW BIDS: You can check your bids at anytime during the auction by clicking 'review bids' in 'bidder tools'.
NOTIFICATION: You can choose to be notified by email during the auction if you have been outbid. Please note that outbid notifications are not sent out during the last two hours of the sale. **** (THIS DOES NOT APPLY TO SEALED BID AUCTIONS)****
INVOICING WINNERS: You will receive an invoice via email within 48 hours of the auction closing.
REMOVAL: Buyers are responsible for the safe removal of all items from their place at time of Auction. Buyers are responsible for any and all damages to the building they cause while on the premises.
REMOVAL/PICKUP: Pickup is to be scheduled for Wednesday Sept 14th from10AM-4:30PM and Thursday Sept 15th from 8Am -4:30PM As stated in our auction details. All items are FOB Mississauga. We will ship items, but there will be a $15 handling fee plus actual shipping fees on any lots shipped. Invoices requiring shipping valued over $100 must be paid for by wire transfer only.
CONDITIONS OF ARTICLES SOLD: As is, where is. You accept items in place with all faults with no guarantees they are fit for any particular use. There are no warranties expressed or implied. We recommend viewing on all items.
CLAIMS: No claim will be allowed after removal of goods from premises.
RISK TO PERSON AND PROPERTY: Please take care of yourself & items as you have released us from liability.
ADDITION TO OR WITHDRAWAL FROM SALE: We may remove/add lots/items to the sale if we must.
RESERVE: You may have to pay a minimum amount in order to win an item.
RECORDS: In the unlikely event of a dispute, you agree to accept our records as if they were written in stone.
SOFT CLOSE: Items close every second. To prevent a bidder from 'sniping', all bids made in the last minute of the auction will force an item to stay open for an additional 3 minutes. This will continue until all bidding has ceased. **this des not apply to sealed bid auctions**
STRATEGY: bid high...high bidder always wins!
CATALOGUE ERRORS: If a description does not match a picture in a lot, the description takes precedence.
